Parallel Minds has just received the award for Best Feature Film at Weenghusk International Film Festival! An incredible Indigenous festival taking place in Canada on Manitoulin Island. This award was overcome with a heavy heart as the acceptance was made in full dedication to the 1500+ residential school children, the survivors, and the late Wilma Pelly as Kookum, who played a guardian and residential school survivor in Parallel Minds. Your bravery was the strongest work of all.
